Sure, we all have favourite books (or series in my case) but what about favourite quotes?
Well, I’ve thought about it and decided to share some of my faves with you. (Also, side point, I have a real issue spelling the word. I really want to spell it...qoutes. Every. Single. Time).
Some of them don’t mean much without the context of the book, but they mean a lot to me, so there you go! Others are classics that you might recognise immediately.
I’m sure there must be more, but I’ve never made a habit of remembering quotes from my favourite books. Maybe I will keep adding to the list, adding my new favourites and old remembered ones along the way. Either way, please enjoy!

Be not afeard. The isle is full of noises, Sounds, and sweet airs that give delight and hurt not. Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices That, if I then had waked after long sleep, Will make me sleep again. And then, in dreaming, The clouds methought would open and show riches Ready to drop upon me, that when I waked I cried to dream again. Shakespeare, The Tempest
‘A truth that’s told with bad intent,
Beats all the lies you can invent’ William Blake, Auguries of Innocence
“Zoology, eh? That's a big word, isn't it." "No, actually it isn't," said Tiffany. "Patronising is a big word. Zoology is really quite short.” Terry Pratchett, The Wee Free Men
